The Tasmanian Breath of Fresh Air Film Festival held an awards night to honour the winners of a number of categories and contest winners. The event was held at the temporary BOFA lounge in the Annexe Theatre at Inveresk, Launceston.
The prize for Best Tasmanian Short went to Matthew Newton and Catherine Pettman for their short film "Doing It Scared". It's a worthy win for a film that's being shown around the world and tells of Tasmanian mountain climber Paul Prichard, and his return to a climb that almost killed him.
