The Learning Support Program is a joint program between UTAS and LINC Tasmania. LINC Tasmania provides Learning Support Guides across rural and remote locations throughout Tasmania to help you with your University studies - providing a friendly and knowledgable person to help you face to face when it isn't always easy to get into Uni.
University Learning Support Mentors at Huon LINC can help you with:
Using ICT technology
Negotiating the UTAS online learning system
Staying motivated
Finding the time and space to study
Maintaining a sense of belonging and direction
Getting timely and personalised help
How does it work?
Contact Huon LINC to make an appointment to talk with a Learning Support Mentor, or visit us in person on Wednesdays from 1-5pm. A mutual time and method of working is usually able to be negotiated (can be 1:1 or small group) and mentors meet with their student/s regularly throughout the university semester.
UPP runs each semester (February - May and July - October). Each semester is 13 weeks long.
